Maryann Boot, L.K.Bennett (£225)
The Chelsea Boot is a style which initiated in the Victoria Era and was most commonly associated with riding. Becoming a hit in the 60s as the 'mod boot', they are back again in the Tens. Most notable for the elastic which runs from the heel up to the top of the boot, they have been modernised somewhat since those in the early 20th Century. The heel is the most apparent modernisation to the classic design for A/W 2010, and the style is one sure to last for years to come. Above are a couple of pairs to suit either pocket.
