Premature Spring Wedge

Opal Leather Wedge Sandals, Diane Von Furstenburg at (£260)
Wicker Tan Wooden Wedges, Topshop (£65)

Although I still feel that we are in the middle of winter and boots are far more apt than anything that reveals a millimetre of skin, as I was browsing the other day, I came across some amazing wedges which I feel will disappear from the shelves very quickly.

Height- the platform at the front makes the heel a lot less high, so don't let that put you off.

Colour- extremely versatile and can be worn with almost anything. Nude shoes are also perfect for elongating the leg.

Style- classic design which will last for springs and summers to come, as well as fitting in perfectly with the 70s trend of the moment.

Material- 100% leather upper so will mould softly to your feet as well as being breathable for warm summers days. Contrasting wooden heel, particularly love the architectural design of the DVF's.

Whether you have hundreds and can afford the Fendi's or DVF's or tens and can afford the Topshop's, this is definitely a style worth buying into.

  1. AT LAST - a wedge.
There's nothing better than a versatile wedge, something which won't be an issue when walking on any kind of terrain - whether it be the challenging cobble which a heel so often gets left behind in or the soft grass which a heel will sink into, a wedge will never let you down.
Thank you Iona, you are a goddess.....!
