Having just had an exclusive sneaky peak today, I can say that the site is looking incredible. In the shoe department, whether you are after handcrafted shoes from iconic men's shoe designer John Lobb or patent trainers from Lanvin, Mr Porter has it all, and it looks great.

Apres-Ski Chic

TommyTon for
Shelley, Kurt Geiger (down from £160 to £99)
Men's Leather Alpine Boots, Office (£74.99)
Hiker Boot, Ask the Missus at Office (£66.99)

Whilst the Spring / Summer collections are filling up the shelves, and as much as I would like to be wandering around in ballet pumps and gladiators, it's just not warm enough yet.

Tommy Ton has shot them in the fashion weeks, and whether your male or female, love the idea or hate it, the walking boot has now become cool. Although this style could be seen as veryy wintery, I am about to head to the slopes and see them as the perfect Apres - Ski chic footwear. They're warm, stylish and have great grip.

To make it look as though you are going for the fashionable stroll as opposed to a hike up a mountain, choose bright coloured boots OR bright laces- NOT both, sheepskin interiors and heels on women's.

Prada Runway Spring / Summer 2011
Tommy Ton for

Miuccia has created a storm for S / S '11 by designing the Prada Creepers. The contrasting materials and textures of the leather brogue upper with the espadrille platform and the trainer sole is incredibly original and satisfyingly unusual. Whether it is the feminine wedges or the unisex brogues that capture you, they are undeniably unique, and just like marmite, you will either love them or hate them.

Lost & Found

Line 12, Paris, Sunday 30th Jan
Abercrombie Model, La Defense, Thursday 27th Jan
Homeless Brogues, Solferino Metro, Friday 28th Jan
Thorn Brogue in Tan Leather, Ask the Missus at Office (£84.99)
'Stanley' Brogues, Grenson at (£175)

Absolutely loving the men's tan brogues that I have seen around and about at the moment, particularly with the clashing- socks - rolled - up - jean look. New, battered, lost or found, they are a classic and a great investment to last you for years to come.

Here are a few snap shots of ones I have seen out and about on the streets, as well as where you can buy your own.
