Tory Burch
Salvatore Ferragamo

Melissa for Vivienne Westwood
Hammock Jade Jelly Sandals, Topshop, £10

Jelly Sandal, Carvela, £19
Jelly Sling Backs, Office, £12
Vanilla Flats, Mel at Schuh, £20

Jelly shoes remind me of summer holidays on the beach when I was younger - running into the sea with both on my feet and coming back with just one. Slippery little f***ers.

They are now back in fashion and although have been for a few years, I am not 100% sold on the idea. They do come in amazing colour ranges, great for summer hols or festivals, and if they only cost £3 from Primark or even £10 from Topshop, then why not? But anymore that £20, I wouldn't bother. These Melissa for Vivienne Westwood retail at about £80, the Salvatore Ferragamo for 105euros, and the Tory Burch for about $125 and are all far too expensive for what they are, even if they do have the designer tag. I have selected a few high street alternatives that will see you through the summer just as well as the designer options, if jellies are what you are after!
